History

According to its own statements, Procolored was founded in 2018; Preqin names Shenzhen Tiansheng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. as the operating company, and the contracting party in the DE shop is HK Senortian Technology Co., Limited in Hong Kong. The company became known for small printers based on Epson print heads (such as the L800, L1800, XP600) and today covers DTF, UV-DTF, UV flatbed and DTG. According to its own press release from September 2026, more than 30,000 small business owners use the devices, and they are sold in over 31 countries; the managing director is KK Jin according to the press release. In 2026 Procolored raised over 860,000 US dollars on Kickstarter with the combination device X one (UV printing plus diode laser) and exhibited at IFA in Berlin for the first time in September 2026. The company does not publish headcount or revenue.

Customer support and warranty

Support runs via live chat, email and a US phone number (+1 877 717 1666); Procolored also offers paid remote support (Remote Expert Service) and a warranty extension. The German shop is in German, and no German phone hotline is named. According to the shipping terms, goods mostly come from a European warehouse (delivery time 3 to 7 days, shipping within Germany free of charge), otherwise from China. The warranty is tiered: 12 months on most components, but only 6 months on the print head and mainboard (only for devices with one print head), ink parts are excluded and damage caused by third-party ink is not covered; returns only within one week and only as long as no ink has been filled. Trustpilot shows procolored.com at 4.2 out of 5 from 548 reviews (as of 10/2026, 17% one-star reviews), with helpful technicians praised and disputes over warranty and refunds criticised; the profile procolored.eu stands at 2.4 out of 5 with only 7 reviews.

Criticism and problems

2025: According to an analysis by G Data, the software and drivers for several models (F8, F13, F13 Pro, V6, V11 Pro, VF13 Pro), distributed via Mega.nz, contained the remote access trojan XRedRAT and the crypto clipper SnipVex, probably since October 2024. Procolored initially denied this, removed the files on 8 May 2025 and provided checked versions (BleepingComputer, May 2025). Recurring criticism in reviews concerns the short printhead warranty, exclusions for ink damage, restrictive return rules and slow refunds. The contracting party is based in Hong Kong and the terms and conditions are governed by Hong Kong law, which can make complaints harder for EU customers.
