Heated-chamber 3D printers at a glance
A heated chamber actively keeps the interior of the printer at temperature, often 55 to 65 °C. This clearly reduces warping and cracks between layers. For ABS and ASA it is a convenience gain, for nylon, PC and large parts often the decisive difference.

What to look for?
- Let the chamber heat up before printing; depending on the device, this takes 10 to 20 minutes.
- For PLA, switch off the chamber heating and leave the door open.
- Dry technical filaments before printing; a warm chamber is no substitute.
