History
Atomstack has existed as a brand since 2020; according to the manufacturer, the founding team had already built the SLA 3D printer brand Dazzle in 2014. The A5 series arrived in 2020, the A10 Pro in 2021, the dual diode lasers A20 Pro and A30 Pro in 2022, and the first fibre laser in 2023. According to the manufacturer, more than 200,000 creators and businesses use Atomstack devices; figures on revenue or employees have not been published. In March 2026 Atomstack received a Rising Star 2025 award from JD Industrial (China) and, according to the report, ranked among the three best-selling laser engraver brands there. The current range extends from open diode lasers to enclosed devices such as the P1 and on to fibre and marking lasers.
Customer support and warranty
According to the manufacturer, support is provided by email at official@atomstack.com, via a contact form and help pages, and a wiki (wiki.atomstack.com); on the warranty page, Atomstack itself points out possible delays in email replies. The shop is available in German, longer texts are partly only in English, and it is not stated whether support speaks German. According to the manufacturer, shipping is from local warehouses in the USA and Germany. The manufacturer's warranty is one year from the invoice date (refurbished devices 3 months, open-box 6 months), proof of purchase from Atomstack or an authorised retailer is mandatory, and according to the terms the customer bears processing and shipping fees. On Trustpilot, atomstack.com has only 12 reviews (TrustScore 2.3, as of October 2026); the negative reports mention slow or missing replies and defective laser modules, but the data base is too small for a verdict.
Criticism and problems
In September 2025 Atomstack started a recall in the USA (FDA, Class 2) for the A5 Pro, A10 Pro and A24 Pro models because a required connector for an external safety interlock (remote interlock) was missing. In the EU, a recall is under way for the enclosed laser engraver P1 for units sold before 28 January 2026: after testing by the Bavarian trade supervisory authority, the device does not meet the protection requirements, among other things because the magnetic safety interlock can be bypassed; Atomstack reports no accidents and asks buyers to stop using the device. Atomstack has at times marketed devices with very high wattage figures, for example as "A20 Pro 130W" (still so in the product URL and refurbished listing), while the optical output power according to the current product page is 20 W.
