History
According to its own account, Sculpfun was founded in 2019; two company names appear on the manufacturer's site, SCULPFUN TECHNOLOGY HK CO., LIMITED (Hong Kong) and SHENZHEN SCULPFUN TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, and according to the Trustpilot profile the business address is in Longhua district in Shenzhen. The brand became known for affordable open diode lasers such as the S9 and later the S30 series with air assist and interchangeable laser modules. The range now also includes enclosed devices and infrared modules; according to the manufacturer, fibre and CO2 lasers are planned. The manufacturer claims to have been one of the first to bring blue diode lasers to the desktop market, which cannot be verified independently. Sculpfun does not publish figures on employees, revenue or funding.
