History
Monport Tech Inc. appeared in April 2022 with a press release announcing its business launch in the USA; a later release from Seattle (July 2023) gives 2020 as the founding year and claims over 600,000 devices sold in 2022, which is not independently verified. The range includes CO2 lasers from 40 to 150 W, fibre and MOPA marking lasers and, since 2026, UV lasers. In January 2024 Monport launched a German shop, and now also shops for France and the UK; according to the manufacturer, there are numerous warehouses in Europe and the Americas. On shop pages, Monport advertises 25 years of experience, which does not fit the founding details. Revenue and employee numbers are not published.
Customer support and warranty
Support is by email, phone (USA) and, in the German shop, via a contact form and WhatsApp; German-language support is not explicitly documented. The German shop states delivery times within Germany of 3 to 7 working days (fibre laser) or 5 to 10 working days (CO2), and does not name a warehouse location. According to the US policy, the warranty is 2 years on CO2 lasers from 60 W and all fibre lasers, 1 year on 40 W devices; laser tubes 6 to 12 months, fibre laser sources 1 year. On Trustpilot, monportlaser.com has 4.3 out of 5 stars from 386 reviews (as of October 2026), with 19 per cent one-star reviews about transport damage, delivery delays and missing parts; at the Better Business Bureau, Monport has a grade of F, among other things because of 11 unanswered complaints.

The legal notice of monportlaser.de gives only a US address, contains typos in the company name and the placeholder "[Bitte eintragen]" instead of an authorised representative (as of October 2026). The advertising with "25 years" of experience contradicts the company's own founding details (2020). In forums, customers report slow support replies and long waits for spare parts from China.
