Gweike: all devices
Gweike is a large Chinese manufacturer of industrial lasers from Jinan that has been building laser cutting systems since 2004. Under the name Gweike Cloud, the company has sold desktop lasers for hobbyists, schools and small businesses since around 2022 to 2023. The consumer brand is thus backed by an established industrial group.

History
In 2001 Jiang Xifeng founded a small cutting plotter company with a partner in Jinan; the first laser cutter followed in 2004, and in July 2004 the Jinan G.Weike Technology Development Co., Ltd. was established. Gweike was already exporting lasers to the USA in 2006, annual capacity reached 4,000 CO2 lasers in 2012, and the first fibre laser cutter followed in 2013. According to the manufacturer, Gweike was China's largest exporter of CO2 lasers in 2018; in 2021 worldwide revenue was over 138 million USD according to company figures (China Daily: over 1 billion yuan). In May 2022 Gweike received nearly 100 million yuan of strategic funding led by Addor Capital, and in 2023 the company says it invested 500 million yuan in a new production base. The consumer brand Gweike Cloud now offers CO2, fibre, UV and diode lasers; the multifunction device MCore raised around 4.69 million USD on Kickstarter in May and June 2026.
Customer support and warranty
Gweike Cloud offers support by email and WhatsApp (according to the manufacturer around the clock on six days) as well as phone with a callback; there is a German-language shop, but whether the support itself speaks German is not documented. An EU warehouse is not explicitly named on the website. The warranty policy gives 1 year for CO2 lasers only, followed by lifetime email support for first buyers; spare parts are offered for a fee after expiry. On Trustpilot, gweikecloud.com has 4.5 out of 5 stars from 104 reviews (as of October 2026); fast support replies are praised, and deductions on returns are occasionally criticised. In the UK, the school supplier Boxford sells the devices with a 12-month on-site warranty.
Criticism and problems
No major documented problems found. Test reports (CNCSourced, China-Gadgets) criticise that the browser-based Gweike Cloud software is slower and more limited than the offline software or LightBurn and pauses when the connection drops; offline use is possible, however. The warranty policy is worded in an outdated way and gives no duration for fibre, UV and diode lasers.
