History

Anker Innovations has existed since 2011, founded by the former Google engineer Steven Yang; the group has been listed on the Shenzhen stock exchange since 2020 and had revenue of around CNY 30.5 billion in 2025. The eufyMake brand has existed since March 2025 and emerged from AnkerMake, under which Anker previously sold the M5 and M5C 3D printers. From April to June 2025 the E1 UV printer raised US$46.8 million from 17,822 backers on Kickstarter, more than any project before it. Because of problems with ink and the dosing tank, production was paused at the end of 2025; according to the manufacturer, only 1,635 units had been delivered by the end of December 2025, and the E1 has been regularly available since 2026.

Customer support and warranty

Warranty claims are handled by email to support@eufymake.com with the order number; eufyMake first tries a remote diagnosis, after which the device goes to an authorised service centre, and according to the manufacturer repair services exist in Europe. The manufacturer's warranty is 12 months on the E1 and only 3 months on the print head; accessories and wear parts are excluded, and third-party ink voids the warranty for damage connected with it. The statutory warranty of 2 years in the EU remains unaffected. On Trustpilot, eufymake.com has 3.1 out of 5 points from 103 reviews (as of October 2026), 46 percent of them with one star; slow email replies, ink colours that are not available and print head failures are criticised.

Criticism and problems

Delivery of the E1 to Kickstarter backers was significantly delayed in 2025 because ink leaked during mass production and the mould had to be rebuilt; at the end of 2025, production was paused because of problems with the dosing tank and magenta ink printing. The ink is expensive (100 ml around 43 US dollars) and, according to user reports, at times unavailable. After the renaming of AnkerMake, the company promised no changes for existing customers in March 2025, but in summer 2025 it discontinued sales and spare part supply for the M5 and M5C 3D printers. At group level, Anker admitted in 2023 that videos from eufy security cameras were not consistently end-to-end encrypted, contrary to the advertising.
