Flashforge AD5X vs. Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro

Both printers compared directly. The better value is marked in green, where this can be determined objectively.

The key differences

  • Only the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro has an enclosure. That is a clear advantage for ABS, ASA and other materials prone to warping.
  • Both are roughly on par in build volume.
  • The Flashforge AD5X reaches higher nozzle temperatures (300 °C), which makes it better suited to engineering filaments.
  • Multicolour printing is only possible with the Flashforge AD5X (yes, 4 colours with integrated IFS (Intelligent Filament System)).
