Anycubic Kobra S1 vs. Anycubic Kobra X
Both printers compared directly. The better value is marked in green, where this can be determined objectively.
The key differences
- Only the Anycubic Kobra S1 has an enclosure. That is a clear advantage for ABS, ASA and other materials prone to warping.
- The Anycubic Kobra S1 is a CoreXY printer, the Anycubic Kobra X a bed slinger. CoreXY allows higher accelerations and is more stable with tall parts.
- The Anycubic Kobra X has the larger build volume (260 × 260 × 260 mm).
- The Anycubic Kobra S1 reaches higher nozzle temperatures (320 °C), which makes it better suited to engineering filaments.
